EVDC Token Launch on ETH at the same time, simultaneously marking the beginning of our mobile app development journey
This milestone marked a major step forward in our mission to innovate in the EV charging ecosystem.
First public iOS release
First release of our mobile application on the Apple App Store. During this initial phase, we conducted user tests to validate our ideas and gather valuable feedback, helping us refine the app and enhance the overall user experience.
An article on Yahoo Finance titled “EVDC Network: The Uprising Blockchain Giant of E-Mobility” highlighted EVDC as “the world’s first EV charging application that supports its own crypto token.” The article discusses how users can utilize EVDC to pay for charging and purchase EVDC-branded chargers, showcasing the innovative integration of blockchain technology within the EV charging ecosystem.
This EVDC app update introduces several exciting features and improvements. Users can now log in as a guest, connect via WalletConnect, and integrate with Trust Wallet or MetaMask. In-app access has been added to purchase EVDC chargers and EVDC tokens, alongside an expanded network featuring thousands of live stations.
New CPO partners, including Ionity, ChargePoint, and Flo, have joined the network. Users can also view live charging-station status, track guest usage, and enjoy an improved, more intuitive UI.
Our engineering team kicked off the EVDC EV charger project, focusing initially on research and development to create innovative and reliable charging solutions.
From August 2023 to December 2023, prototypes were designed, tested, and refined to develop a robust product capable of meeting North American and European certification standards.
February and April 2024
From April to August 2024, final modifications were made to the EVDC PRO, including rigorous testing and design mold development. During this period, the 80A Project was also initiated, with prototype creation and design underway.
This milestone expands accessibility for our community, allowing users to trade EVDC tokens more easily and participate in the growing EVDC ecosystem.
The EVDC app received a series of rapid updates, delivering significant improvements across functionality, performance, and user experience.
Updates included a faster map and the option to report station issues, the ability to display company names on profiles for business invoices, and enhanced security with general bug fixes. The app also underwent a complete UI redesign, added multi-language support, enabled in-app EVDC token purchasing, and simplified payment-method management. Charging flows became smoother with easier start/stop processes, and support was added for cards requiring extra authentication.
Overall, these updates brought major performance and stability improvements, creating a more seamless and user-friendly experience.
