Warranty

Limited Warranty: This type of warranty covers manufacturing defects and issues that occur under normal usage conditions during the 2-year period. The warranty includes repair or replacement of the charger if a defect is found.

Parts and Labor Warranty: This covers the cost of replacement parts as well as labor for repair or replacement.

Replacement Warranty: If the charger exhibits an irreparable defect or major issue, we offer a complete replacement of the unit during the warranty period.

Specific exclusions in a warranty for a Level 2 electric vehicle (EV) charger refer to situations, conditions, or types of damage that are not covered by the warranty.

Damage Due to Improper Installation: If the charger is installed by an unqualified professional or not according to the recommended specifications. The charger requires installation in compliance with local electrical codes, and a certified electrician must carry out the installation to ensure the warranty remains valid.

Incorrect or Non-Conforming Use: If the charger is used in conditions for which it was not designed (e.g., used outdoors without protection against the elements). Similarly, if the device is used with incompatible equipment (e.g., cables, outlets) or in unsuitable environments (e.g., exposure to extreme temperatures or humid conditions).

Physical or External Damage: Physical damages such as scratches, dents, cracks, or any damage caused by dropping or external impacts are not covered.

Damage Due to Natural Disasters: Damage caused by external events such as natural disasters (floods, earthquakes, storms, etc.), or extreme weather conditions (exposure to hail, rain, snow, lightning, etc.).

Power Surges or Electrical Issues: If the charger is damaged by power surges, short circuits, or issues related to the electrical supply (e.g., poor quality of electricity or inadequate surge protection). This also includes damage caused by improper grounding or errors in the home electrical system.

Normal Wear and Tear: Minor aesthetic damages, such as light scratches or visible marks due to use, but that do not affect the functionality of the device.

Unauthorized Modifications: If the user modifies, repairs, or attempts to customize the charger. Modifications can affect the safety or alter the functioning of the charger.

Failure to Follow Maintenance Instructions: Maintenance of the device must be carried out in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations. If the user does not follow these instructions, for example, by using inappropriate cleaning products, the warranty will be voided.
